The ensemble is up for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Drama Series. Coughlan’s turn as Penelope Featherington has also earned her an individual nod for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Drama Series.The leading lady dressed up for the occasion, wearing a Cinderella-blue Dior gown on the red carpet. I knew the nominations were coming out, but I was not on my phone. I’d completely forgotten about it, if I’m being honest. I was getting ready to go out and my phone started ringing, and it was my publicist, and she sort of said, ‘I’ve been trying to reach you.’ I’m an anxious person, so I immediately thought, ‘Something is terribly wrong.’ It was just such a lovely shock, and it was the day before my birthday. So it was a really nice birthday present!”She added that she feels especially moved to have been picked by her fellow Screen Actors Guild members. “[I] feel so honored because it’s such a gorgeous thing for your peers to say, ‘We think you did well.’ That means very, very much to me, because I love what I do.”
