In this episode of Talking Point, we spoke to Shreyas Devalkar, Head-Equity, Axis AMC about the Q3 earnings and correction in the markets. Talking about valuation, Devalkar's views are specific as he believes its a stock-pickers market. Valuations are if not mouth-watering or attractive, reasonable. Those pockets are few. Expecting all the stocks to go all the way back up may not be right, he said. With investors comparing pre-and post-covid returns, Devalkar said that these expectations may not come through. Some stocks are capable of matching these returns, but he notes that spaces with good valuations are only emerging.
