The DGCA and AAI reviewed the readiness of Navi Mumbai International Airport, which is set to ease congestion at Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport. Successful trial landings were conducted, and the airport's infrastructure, including runway and terminal, was inspected. With a capacity of 20 million passengers annually, NMIA will enhance connectivity in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region.
