Defence minister Rajnath Singh on Tuesday urged the Indian Coast Guard to remain vigilant against unconventional threats like cyberattacks and data breaches. The government's enhanced budget allocation will aid in the acquisition of modern vessels and equipment, further strengthening the Coast Guard's capabilities to tackle piracy, terrorism, and other illicit activities.
