Samsung has started rolling out a new software update for its popular mid-range smartphone, the Galaxy A52 5G. The update brings the latest security patch, not the new features that Samsung released with One UI 7.0.Galaxy A52 5G gets February security update in the USAThe latest software update that is currently rolling out to the Galaxy A52 5G comes with firmware version A526USQSGGYA1. It is available in the US for the carrier-locked variant of the phone.It includes the February 2025 security patch, which fixes dozens of security loopholes discovered in the previous software version. If you have a Galaxy A52 and if it is a carrier-locked variant, you can check for the new update by navigating to Settings » Software update » Download and install.You can also download the new firmware file from our firmware database and flash it manually. However, to do that, you need to be well-versed in the manual firmware flashing process and familiar with the Odin tool that can be used on a computer running Windows OS.Samsung launched the Galaxy A52 5G in early 2021 with Android 11 onboard. The phone was promised three major Android OS updates.
