February 25, 2025 (MLN): The benchmark KSE-100 Index concluded Tuesday's trading session at 114,528.08, showing an increase of 197.98 points or 0.17%.The index traded in a range of 1,711.05 points showing an intraday high of 115,889.60 (+1,559.50) and a low of 114,178.55 (-151.55) points.The total volume of the KSE-100 Index was 290.83 million shares.Of the 100 index companies 53 closed up, 45 closed down, while 2 were unchanged.Top gainers during the day were NATF (+6.69%), PGLC (+6.06%), BNWM (+5.48%), PABC (+5.19%), and TGL (+5.17%).On the other hand, top losers were TRG (-5.07%), PKGP (-4.08%), KEL (-3.55%), CHCC (-3.50%), and PIBTL (-2.80%).In terms of index-point contributions, companies that propped up the index were BAHL (+96.88pts), MCB (+75.11pts), OGDC (+62.08pts), MLCF (+32.03pts), and MARI (+29.43pts).Meanwhile, companies that dragged the index lower were FFC (-60.52pts), HUBC (-48.71pts), TRG (-37.00pts), CHCC (-36.92pts), and ENGROH (-35.71pts).Sector-wise, KSE-100 Index was supported by Commercial Banks (+211.88pts), Oil & Gas Exploration Companies (+84.52pts), Food & Personal Care Products (+44.72pts), Glass & Ceramics (+19.91pts), and Oil & Gas Marketing Companies (+17.26pts).While the index was let down by Power Generation & Distribution (-65.84pts), Inv. Banks / Inv. Cos. / Securities Cos.
