The NCLT has instructed three aircraft lessors of SpiceJet, namely AWAS 36698 Ireland, AWAS 36694 Ireland, and AWAS 36695 Ireland, to submit a current and valid Power of Attorney. This directive follows insolvency pleas filed by the lessors against SpiceJet over a Rs 77 crore default. The matter is scheduled for further hearing on July 3, 2025.
