GTA-Like MindsEye's Developer Loses Top Executives Ahead Of Launch

Next week, former Grand Theft Auto lead developer Leslie Benzies will release MindsEye, his first game since his acrimonious departure from Rockstar Games and Take-Two Interactive in 2016. However, two of the top executives from MindsEye's studio Build a Rocket Boy have left the company ahead of its release next week.As reported by Eurogamer, chief legal officer Riley Graebner and CFO Paul Bland acknowledged their departure from Build a Rocket Boy. Neither Graebner nor Bland explained why they left the company, but both expressed pride in what they accomplished there.Earlier this month, Build a Rocket Boy co-CEO Mark Gerhard openly agreed with the suggestion that there was a "concerted effort" to harm the reputation of MindsEye and its parent company. Without directly accusing another company of being involved with the game's negative reception, Gerhard said it "doesn't take much to guess who."
