The RPG space has changed a lot in the 10 years since The Witcher 3 released, with recent games like Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 and Baldur's Gate 3 seeing great success with their innovations on the genre. CD Projekt Red is well aware of the legacy of both titles--and has said that The Witcher 4 is more likely to follow in Kingdom Come's footsteps.Speaking to PC Gamer in a recent interview, CD Projekt Red co-CEO Adam Badowski praised Kingdom Come's systems-heavy style of RPG, saying its next game could go in that direction. But at the same time, we would like to build very fleshy, very well-motivated characters. So it's kind of in contradiction from time to time. That's a great design challenge."Continue Reading at GameSpot
