.... well, what the sewage plant smells like over on Neyland the morning after a UT home game.I'm talking about Trump's "Big Beautiful Bill" which, as is the pattern in DC over the last two decades plus, always has meant the exact opposite of whatever the bill is named.The basic problem government has at all levels is that once a program gets introduced or advanced it is never removed. All the way back to 2019 the level of spending and debt it generated was unsustainable and not a little either; as I've pointed out most of the problem traces directly or indirectly straight to CMS and has for 30 years and its not a function of whether people need medical care -- its a function of cost and the fact that as with education cost and results have been decoupled to the point that there's no connection between them at all.You.......(Click link to read more)
