No joke. My parents are Jehovah witness's and I decided Not to be one. So when I came of the adult age 18, they told me I had to go to school or get a job and told me: "You're not going to sit around doing nothing all day." My younger sisters decided to stay Jehovah Witnesses. My parents told them "Don't worry about finding a job, take a year off and enjoy serving god." Wtf? I bought a tall can once after work when I came home and my dad gave me a lecture and shamed me for drinking in his house. (note I was working and it was just 1 beer on my 21st bday.) Meanwhile my youngest sister popping Xanax and drinking white claws all day, but they looked the other way because she was "serving god" and didn't bother her bad habits. She got special treatment for serving Jehovah but me? They weren't having some devil worshipping tax payer stay for free lol
