Ward Sakeik, a stateless Palestinian woman, was detained by the ICE for 140 days on the way back from her honeymoon. Recalling the horror she had to face in the custody, Ward Sakeik said she was 'treated like cattle' and was put on the bus without food and water for 16 hours. After she was detained, the US government tried – twice – to deport her.
