The blast, which occurred on Tuesday, left seven people unaccounted for and ignited a large fire that sparked additional spot fires in the area.Yolo County officials confirmed Friday that the Coroner’s Division has gained access to the fire site and is in contact with the families of those reported missing. No positive identifications have been made so far, and recovery operations are still ongoing.“The Coroner’s Office has been in contact with the families of those who had been reported missing,” the county said in a statement.Two individuals were treated for injuries, officials said. According to a screenshot of the company’s website—taken before it was deactivated—the business has over 30 years of experience in fireworks design and performance and is headquartered in both San Francisco and Esparto.The company issued a brief statement promising full cooperation with authorities as the cause of the explosion continues to be investigated.Further south, a separate fireworks-related incident in Los Angeles on Thursday night claimed one life and injured multiple people after a blaze engulfed four homes.Story continues below this adAccording to the Los Angeles Fire Department, firefighters arrived to find fireworks still going off in the area as flames tore through a residential neighborhood. One man was found dead on the scene, a woman was transported in critical condition, and four others were treated for smoke inhalation.
