His second season saw him win City’s first ever Premier League title, the Italian providing the assist for Sergio Aguero’s famous last-gasp winning goal that snatched the crown away from Manchester United. Balotelli was out the door just six months later as he went to AC Milan amid a falling out with City boss Roberto Mancini. It wasn’t long before Balotelli made a return to the Premier League, however, as he signed for Liverpool in the summer of 2014. After a brief spell with Swiss side Sion, he went back to Adana Demirspor before going to Genoa. Balotelli boasts 14 goals in 36 appearances for Italy, with his most recent cap coming in 2018.
