A house collapsed due to heavy rain in Belagavi on Saturday. However, no one was injured.The house belonging to Ramachandra Gandhi in Patil Mala was built around 1940. It collapsed due to leaking roofs and weak walls. However, the owners moved out after it was perceived to be dangerous. The owners told city corporation of Belagavi officials that they had suffered damages of lakhs of rupees. Revenue officials, CCB engineers and others visited the spot.The total water release from Maharashtra increased around five percent on Saturday to about 1.04 lakh cusecs.The inflow into the Lal Bahadur Shastri reservoir on the Krishna in Almatti was about 1.02 lakh cusecs and outflow was at 1,00,670 cusecs. The gross storage is around 87.73 tmcft at 517 m or about 71.2 percent of the full reservoir level of 123 tmcft at 519 m.There is around 37.03 tmcft of water in the Raja Lakhamagouda reservoir on the Ghataprabha in Hidkal, against the full reservoir level of 51 tmcft. Inflow is 23,105 cusecs and outflow was at 1,457 cusecs.The inflow into Renuka Sagar dam on the Malaprabha river was 9,197 cusecs and 194 cusecs was the outflow.
