(Source)Bengaluru, June 01: The Bengaluru police have booked a migrant woman from Bihar for allegedly assaulting an autorickshaw driver on Saturday.The accused, identified as Pankhuri Mishra, 28, reportedly hit the victim with slippers. The incident took place outside the Centro Mall in Bellandur around 3 pm on Saturday. In a purported video of the assault, Mishra can be seen hitting the autorickshaw driver with slippers even as he continued to record her.After the video went viral, the autorickshaw driver, Lokesh, 33, filed a police complaint. According to him, Mishra and her husband, who were riding a two-wheeler, first brushed against his vehicle. Thereafter, when he pointed that out, Mishra started hitting him.On Sunday, Mishra appeared before the Bellandur police for questioning. She claimed that Lokesh did not behave properly, so she hit him.
