Tom Aspinall says Jon Jones is ‘retired’ and he is now the undisputed UFC heavyweight champion of the world.Aspinall has been the UFC interim heavyweight champion for over 550 days and is seemingly fed up with Jones’ antics.Aspinall is seemingly finished with Jones’ games once and for allgettyJones sent fans into a frenzy over the weekend when he told them he had ‘agreed’ a deal with Aspinall to wait for a UFC announcement on their future.Aspinall was asked about the aforementioned agreement, which hasn’t been specified, by UFC legends Daniel Cormier and Chael Sonnen on Good Guy / Bad Guy podcast on Monday.Cormier asked Aspinall if he had indeed allowed the UFC to make a decision on what he was doing, before the Englishman dropped some bombshell news.“Nah man, Jon is retired,” he said. “What are you talking about guys? “You guys don’t follow Jon on social media? Me too [I don’t follow him].“But the guy is living his best life. He’s had a fantastic career, we all know.“We know Jon’s a religious man, so I want to say God bless him moving forward in what he does in his life and his career.“We move on. I’m the undisputed heavyweight champion of the world.
