Earlier this week, Samsung updated the Galaxy A53 5G with Android 15-based One UI 7.0. Initially, the brand released it for the variant of the phone that it sells in South Korea (SM-A536N), and then to the variant of the phone that it sells in Europe (SM-A536B).Now, on Reddit, a user reports that their Galaxy A53 5G for India (SM-A536E) has received the Android 15-based One UI 7.0 update. They have also posted a screenshot of the update. However, they have hidden the firmware’s version number and size. As you can see, the update also packs the May 2025 security patch, which fixes security issues mentioned here. Samsung sells the Galaxy A53 5G’s international variant in India. Considering that, we are assuming that the update is live in other countries as well.
