In a new interview, actor Surveen Chawla opened up about an incident where a director tried to kiss her, even though he knew that she was recently married. In an exclusive interview with Hauterrfly, Surveen opened up about the incident, but admitted that she has had similar experiences multiple times. She added, “I will tell you a tale about Mumbai’s Veera Desai Road only. After the meeting at his office cabin, he came to see me off at the gate, and this was after I got married. And the strange thing was that we talked about this in the meeting also, he asked me how it was going and what my husband did, and it was just us speaking inside his cabin because he had a big office,” she said.She continued, “So, when I came to the door to say bye, he leaned towards me trying to kiss, and I had to push him back. Surveen said that he communicated his intention via a third person, as he wasn’t fluent in Hindi or English. She was a part of TV shows like Kasautii Zindagi Kay, Kaajjal and 24. She made her film debut in 2008 with Kannada film Paramesha Panwala, and was later seen in Bollywood in films like Hum Tum Shabana, Ugly, Hate Story 2, Parched and short film Chhuri. She had been a part of several prominent Punjabi movies too.
