People need to consider why they are bringing up their issues or challenges to particular people. I know someone who is constantly expecting people to bankroll their life. Their life doesn't strike as much harder than anyone else's, TBH, from what they share and the things they need money for- if they didn't go to various fandom conventions all the time, they'd have the money to pay for things. What got me was then they did a GFM to move to a new area pretty far from where they lived. Local businesses who supported individuals with the same challenges gave a lot of money... and they never moved there.
