US President Donald Trump expressed disinterest in holding a call with Elon Musk on Friday after their falling out over the 'One Big Beautiful Bill' that the US Senate approved, NDTV reported, citing ABC news. After having initially scheduled a call with Musk, a White House official said: "There are no plans for President Trump to hold a call with Elon Musk on Friday."The two had traded barbs publicly due to Musk's opposition to the bill on account of the elimination of electronic vehicle tax credits. The House version of this bill proposes largely ending the popular $7,500 federal tax credit for new electric vehicle purchases by the end of 2025. This would hamper sales from Musk's EV company Tesla. The billionaire then went on to criticise Trump and his policies via posts on his social media platform 'X', taking credit for his election victory and eventually claiming that the Trump administration had not released the files of sex trafficker Jefferey Epstein due to the US president's name being in them."You mean the man who has lost his mind?" Trump told ABC News when asked if he was interested in holding talks with Elon Musk after the feud. The US president had also threatened to cut Musk's access to governmental subsidies and contracts."The easiest way to save money in our Budget, Billions and Billions of Dollars, is to terminate Elon's Governmental Subsidies and Contracts. I was always surprised that Biden didn't do it!" he wrote in a post on his social media platform Truth Social.ABC News also further reported that Trump was considering selling the red Tesla that he had bought.Elon Musk Blinks First In Trump Feud That Cost Him $34 Billion.
