Her role in the murder is quite clear.”Sonam is being taken to Shillong on Tuesday night and will be produced in court on Wednesday. On Tuesday morning, the Uttar Pradesh Police had said that Sonam, who was found at a roadside eatery in the state’s Ghazipur district on Monday, was claiming she did not know how she reached Ghazipur as she had been drugged.According to Syiem, Sonam initially had plans to resurface a month later. “But we managed to crack the case open in a short span, so she was forced to come overground. It is a sham story she is making of being drugged and all. It’s a plan gone all wrong.”On claims by Sonam’s family that she is being framed, he said, “We will never do this to an innocent person. The evidence we have is foolproof.
