The ruling NRM First National Vice Chairman, Alhajji Moses Kigongo and the party Secretary General, Rt. Hon. Richard Todwong today held a meeting with the newly elected district, city, and municipality chairpersons.The party leaders, flanked by the party Vice Chairman in charge of the Western Region and the ICT Minister, Hon. Chris Baryomunsi, congratulated the group for taking the leadership to steer the ruling party forward.While addressing the chairpersons in a three-day meeting themed on strengthening leadership and accountability for enhanced service delivery at Hotel Africana Kampala, Alhajji. Kigongo urged the leaders always to be flexible no matter the situation adding that if there is a need to change tactics to achieve a certain goal, they (leaders) should do that.Kigongo appealed to the leaders not to confuse the party and other members who needed to join the party.“Many people may want to come and join the movement. Do not chase them away but rather welcome them to the party. NRM is a mass party that can accommodate everyone,” Kigongo said.He also cautioned all party members against running as independents after failing in the forthcoming party primaries to stay warned adding that the party will not accept this kind of mess.The NRM Secretary General Rt.
