A new Game of Thrones RTS has been announced as part of the Summer Game Fest show. Australian developer PlaySide Studios and Warner Bros. have announced Game of Thrones: War for Westeros, and it's set for launch in 2026.The game is described as a "classic, premium real-time strategy game" for PC that's set in the world of Westeros. Players will take control of one of the fiction's legendary Houses (Stark, Targaryen, or Lannister), or the Night King, with the aim of conquering the Seven Kingdoms. The game has a single-player campaign and multiplayer. Each faction in War for Westeros has its own unique heroes, armies, and mechanics, and players are able to dispatch ground troops, cavalry, siege engines, giants, and dragons to gain the upper hand.
