Revenue officials have been instructed by Eluru district Joint Collector P. Dhatri Reddy to speed up the land re-survey efforts underway across the district. Chairing a review meeting on Wednesday, she emphasised the timely completion of the land re-survey activities, particularly in pilot villages and those covered under the second phase.The Joint Collector instructed officials to prioritise boundary surveys of villages, mandals, and inter-state borders and to ensure the entire re-survey process is completed within the prescribed schedule.She further ordered that all applications received 22 years ago under various land-related schemes be resolved in accordance with the existing regulations. For those not eligible under norms, clear communication must be issued to applicants explaining the reasons for rejection.Highlighting the importance of justice to tenant farmers, Ms. Dhatri Reddy stressed that all eligible farmers must be issued Crop Cultivator Rights Card (CCRC) in a transparent and timely manner. She assured that the CCRC cards would not infringe upon land ownership rights of landlords and told the revenue and agriculture departments to coordinate and ensure that no eligible farmer is left behind.The Joint Collector also instructed officials to conduct joint inspections of the fertiliser depots and to ensure proper inventory is maintained so as to prevent any misuse. She said: “Special vigilance is to be maintained at the State border areas to curb the illegal transport and hoarding of fertilisers. Officers must review stock records meticulously and initiate action wherever discrepancies are found.”In regards to the applications for house sites under G.O. 30, the JC directed that all pending applications must be addressed within the specified time frame, without delay.Top performer felicitatedDuring the meeting, Jangareddygudem Tahsildar Sleeve Joji was felicitated by the Joint Collector and District Revenue Officer V.
