The highest rates — 40% — were imposed on Myanmar and the Lao People’s Democratic Republic.Trump shared the details of the tariffs in official letters sent to the leaders of the countries.Posting them on Truth Social, he said they are “a wave of letters” aimed at recalibrating US trade relationships. The rate for Japan is 1 point higher than first announced.
