I didn't say more than once a week, I said about once a week. I have a monthly pain doctor appt, I can't get my meds unless I see him every 4 weeks. Then I have physical therapy, and I see my regular doctor every couple weeks. I have an appt with an endocrinologist a week after my pain doc appt, for my hypoglycemia. I was just averaging, it's probably not every single week, but it's 2 to 4 times a month. At least lately. I just saw my regular doctor yesterday cuz I woke up Saturday morning and my foot was swollen and painful, and it didn't get better all weekend, so I made an appt on Monday for Tuesday, which was the soonest they had. The swelling is still there, but now my ankle is too. She's thinking it's a blood clot, so today after my job interview I have an appt to get a stat ultrasound and X-ray, to rule out (or in) a clot. Easter weekend I was in the hospital for 4 days with bilateral lower lobe pneumonia and sepsis (as I had NO symptoms until I was already septic and the pain in my back started). I had frequent follow-ups with my doctor after I left the hospital, as I had pushed to leave as soon as I was no longer dying, since my son was living with my mom the whole time and I missed him and wanted to get home to him. Basically, I'm falling the fuck apart. I'm only 44 years old, but I feel like an 80 year old lady.
