Is it possible to get diagnosed with an MRI?

Wait 5 sec.

The doctors suspect I have endometriosis. I am being treated as if I have it as we speak. 2 years ago now I think I had a GYNO appointment from hell to try find out. I had 3 medical personnel in the room, but got it down to two. Mind you I was 16-17 at the time. They kept trying for a while, and they obviously couldn’t get the ultrasound inside where yk it should be. It hurt, and I cried. They tried a different one. Didn’t work. I said it’s too painful. Then they suggested to try feel with a finger? Absolutely no, I said so. They tried do an ultrasound in my stomach, nothing there either. It was bad. I was sobbing by the time I left the office, and they decided to not move any further. They didn’t want to give me any potential trauma related to the situation. I was suppose to go again in December but I got sick because I dreaded it. It was so uncomfortable and painful. I felt violated in the worst way I’ve ever been. My mother had to call for me, because I kept crying, and ask if I could get something to call down. The lady was nice and said we could wait. Now they are supposed to call me in 2 weeks. Which brings me back to the original question. Is it possible to get diagnosed with endometriosis from an MRI? I’m debating on asking them during the call if it’s a possibility. I don’t want to use birth control anymore, which I’ve been on since I was 14. Any ideas or experience getting diagnosed? submitted by /u/blueshwarky [link] [comments]
