Translation: “my friends and family didn’t buy every single item on my lengthy registry so clearly they don’t care”. When I was pregnant with my first kiddo, the best gifts I received weren’t from my registry….like the meal train my neighbors set up for us, the offers to babysit so I could take a break and get out of the house. My point is there are others way for people to show they care besides simply buying you shit.
