Jerusalem’s Tower of David Museum is asking the public to help uncover forgotten photographs of the Western Wall taken between the 1860s and 1968 for a major exhibition marking 60 years since the reunification of Jerusalem. The exhibit, titled “Eyes on the Wall,” will explore the history of Judaism’s holiest prayer site through personal photographs, family albums, postcards, and private collections spanning generations. The appeal follows the discovery of a rare 1920s Jerusalem photo collection hidden for decades in a family basement, highlighting the possibility that more historic treasures remain waiting to be found. Anyone with relevant images is encouraged to submit them to exhibitions@tod.org.il.The post Rare call for lost Western Wall photos appeared first on World Israel News.
