TVK chief C Joseph Vijay has announced his party will give its single Rajya Sabha seat to the Congress. This seat became vacant after AIADMK leader C Ve Shanmugam resigned. The allocation follows meetings between Congress leaders and Chief Minister Vijay. The Congress expressed that this move will strengthen their presence in the Upper House.
