The Supreme Court has deemed the Wrestling Federation of India's plea against a Delhi High Court order infructuous. The High Court had allowed wrestler Vinesh Phogat to participate in selection trials. The Supreme Court stated it was not reiterating the High Court's findings. All issues remain open. Phogat participated in the trials but did not succeed.
