A 53-year-old woman is at risk of dying after falling from a second-storey window in Birżebbuġa this morning.Police were alerted to the incident at around 7.45am and immediately responded to a residence in Triq il-Qajjenza.Preliminary investigations found that the woman had fallen from a height of approximately two storeys.Members of the Civil Protection Department and a medical team were called to the scene, with the victim being transported by ambulance to Mater Dei Hospital for treatment.She was later certified as suffering from serious injuries.Police investigations into the incident are ongoing.•
