Tried everything, possible hysterectomy at 22.

Wait 5 sec.

My daughter has tried everything for years now, for her endo pain. She also has several other health conditions. She’s made the decision years ago that she does not wish to have biological children, due to the dangers to herself nor does she wish to give her child a life with hereditary conditions. She’s been on every kind of hormone, birth control, etc to help her endo. She’s had 2 surgeries in 3 years. Her Dr. agreed the last hope was taking Orilissa(been on it 6 months now). Her cardiologist and neurologist feel she needs to stop it. Shes having constant pain and headaches. Her GYN and pcp are pushing an IUD, but her cardiologist and rheumatologist say no way as it’ll make her other conditions worse. My daughter is adamant of the hysterectomy (leaving her ovaries in tact). Has anyone here also being this young, done this? The dr feels it will be covered by insurance because we’ve tried everything we could. submitted by /u/Fairy-tale13 [link] [comments]
