One fan said: “I have a bad feeling that he’s gonna ball at Tottenham,” while another added: “He will at a team that have loads of space to run into. Unfortunately, he isn’t clinical enough for City and against teams that sit deep.”A third supporter commented: “He will do anything apart from scoring goals that’s for sure,” while another fan insisted: “His ceiling is sooo high, we can’t give up on SAVVV😭😭.” One more supporter believed Savinho could still develop into a world-class player, writing: “Slowly waiting for him to improve his decision making, finishing, crossing and composure in vital moments…..the rest of his attributes are incredible….if he works at it and calms down when he’s got a shot on he’d be a terrific player for us….just a lot of ifs and buts.”Reacting to the Tottenham links, another Man City fan simply stated: “We’re gonna regret this. I hope he doesn’t leave.”I have a bad feeling that he’s gonna ball at Spurs 😭😭 pic.twitter.com/WajhhgIH5r— ¹⁰ (@SxrgioSZN) June 2, 2026Savinho’s numbers show where Tottenham’s concerns come fromSavinho is certainly a player capable of elevating Tottenham Hotspur’s creativity from out wide. The Brazilian international is an excellent dribbler and has the ability to stretch play and create chances. His 10 assists in his first Premier League season are a testament to that quality. However, throughout most of his time in England, he has struggled for goals.Savinho’s best return in front of goal remains the one he managed at Girona, where there was often far more space to attack into. Some Tottenham fans may be worried by his actual numbers since joining the Premier League. There, he produced arguably the best attacking football of his career so far, registering nine goals and 10 assists. However, in England, the 22-year-old has not scored more than one goal in a Premier League season.SeasonClubAppearancesGoalsAssistsMinutes played2023-24Girona379102,9932024-25Manchester City291101,7722025-26Manchester City2412821Savinho stats from his last three seasons.READ MORE: Xavi Simons may have just hinted at Savinho transfer as Tottenham push for dealThe post ‘We’re gonna regret this’ – Man City fans react to idea of Savinho joining Tottenham appeared first on Spurs Web.
