I set up my house with gently used Craigslist buys (except car seat of course) when my granddaughter arrived and I was swapping her back and forth while my daughter worked/finished her secondary and son in law was deployed. They out grow things so quickly. And everything went to my nieces/nephews as growing went on. My friend was particularly good/lucky at finding high quality items at yard sales for super cheap for me. I get new babies are exciting, and opening boxes and packages are fun, but there’s just so much over consumerism going on.
