Idaho-based Tenicor has released the CERTUM4 and CERTUM LUX4, the fourth-generation versions of its most versatile concealment holster. Both models are available now at $125 and support IWB hip carry as well as AIWB appendix carry from the same platform, a defining characteristic of the CERTUM line since its inception. The generation-four update brings a meaningful set of mechanical improvements over its predecessors. The clip system upgrades to the DCC Mod 4 Universal high-retention gear clip, and carry height and cant adjustment have been significantly expanded, now offering nearly one inch of height travel and a cant range spanning -5 to +20 degrees. A third clip position has been added at the sight channel, which lowers the overall profile of both the gun and the belt clip for a more discreet presentation. All three camming bars, low, medium, and high, ship standard with every holster and are interchangeable to fine-tune ride height to the wearer's belt and carry preference. Proprietary no-spin, double-post hardware addresses a common frustration with Kydex holster assembly, simplifying disassembly and reassembly during adjustments. Both models are made in the USA. The CERTUM LUX4 is the weapon-mounted light variant, designed to reduce the overall profile of the gun-plus-light combination to keep the setup manageable for all-day concealed carry. The standard CERTUM4 replaces the CERTUM3, while the CERTUM LUX4 consolidates and replaces both the CERTUM LUX2 and the CERTUM SOL. At launch, both holsters are available for Glock, Springfield Armory, Staccato, SIG SAUER, Walther, Smith & Wesson, and H&K platforms. Walther and H&K fitments are currently limited to the standard CERTUM4 only, with no LUX4 variant listed at launch.
