I get being disappointed if nobody acknowledges a major life event, but this feels incredibly entitled. Friends and family already helped cover most of the actual necessities, yet the focus isn't on gratitude, it's on the remaining unchecked boxes. At some point the registry stops being a list of needs and starts being treated like a scoreboard, which is probably why people react so negatively to posts like this.
