It didn't seem like much, but he’d gained more points killing these two than he would have doing ten ordinary missions. The economics in the voidling realm were simple. Murder, at least for now, was the quickest way to get rich. The spearman, surprisingly, didn’t carry any storage item, and the lightning mage's was tiny, a three-foot space that contained an assortment of herbs.“Don’t get rid of that,” Iris said, dumping an unconscious Haru on the ground in front of him. “That's a storage bag specifically for alchemists. They don’t have time-stasis, and they’re a bitch to optimise, but they’ll let you maintain and grow a small herb garden within them.”Iris took the bag from him and snorted. “This woman was an idiot. She just stored plants randomly. Hell, she didn’t even have any soil set up inside it. While these bags are good enough to slowly improve and grow any plant placed inside, it’ll do it at a glacial pace if you don’t work with the thing.”She passed it back over to him and knelt beside Haru. “So, what’s wrong with him? Why isn’t he waking up?”“That’s what I’m trying to figure out,” Arthur mumbled, running diagnostic ether through Haru’s skull for the third time. “I assumed the potion you used missed something, or his head healed with some debris still stuck inside it, but there's nothing.”“Well, we’ve got two minutes before our targets arrive,” Iris said, chewing her lip nervously. “I’ve noticed two voidling scouts already. If you can’t get him up within a minute, I’ll set up a defensive formation to protect him.
