Tottenham are searching for attacking reinforcements this summer, and one of Europe’s most sought-after young wingers has now emerged on their radar.Roberto De Zerbi has already made it clear that major changes are coming to Tottenham Hotspur this summer. The Italian admitted after securing Premier League survival that he wants to build a new team, suggesting only 10 to 12 players are guaranteed to fit into his long-term plans. One area that desperately needs improving is the attack. Tottenham’s forwards struggled badly throughout the season, with Randal Kolo Muani, Richarlison, Mathys Tel and Dominic Solanke managing just 19 Premier League goals between them.Mohammed Kudus was arguably the one consistent bright spark in attack before a season-ending injury early in the new year halted his momentum. With Kolo Muani also expected to return to Paris Saint-Germain after an underwhelming loan spell in North London, Spurs are actively exploring attacking options ahead of the summer window.Photo by Michael Campanella/Getty ImagesTottenham among clubs tracking AIK wonderkid Zadok YohannaAccording to Daily Mirror journalist Simon Jones, Tottenham are one of several clubs keeping a close eye on AIK winger Zadok Yohanna. The Nigerian teenager only joined the Swedish side from Ikon Allah Academy last summer, but his rise has been rapid enough to attract attention from some of Europe’s biggest clubs. Chelsea, Real Madrid, Rennes, RB Leipzig and Borussia Dortmund are all reported to be monitoring the 18-year-old’s development. While his senior numbers remain modest, with two goals and two assists in seven league appearances, scouts have been particularly impressed by the potential he displayed during AIK’s Swedish Cup campaign earlier this year.Amongst all the clubs, it is Brighton who are currently believed to be leading the race for his signature. The Seagulls are preparing for possible departures in wide areas, with Kaoru Mitoma and Yankuba Minteh attracting interest elsewhere.Reports suggest AIK could demand a club-record fee in the region of £18m to £20m for the teenager, although there is growing confidence that Brighton may be able to get a deal over the line.Brighton are in talks over a move for AIK's 18-year-old flying winger Zadok Yohanna – @MailSport https://t.co/JVFnhyLALP— Simon Jones (@SimonJones_DM) June 1, 2026Tottenham may need more proven options out wideAs talented as Yohanna appears to be, his profile raises an interesting question. The youngster is predominantly a left-footed winger who operates on the right, and Tottenham already possess similar options in Mathys Tel and Wilson Odobert, both of whom are comfortable cutting inside from wide positions. What Spurs arguably need more urgently is a natural left-footed winger. With Mohammed Kudus and Dejan Kulusevski both sidelined and their return dates still uncertain, De Zerbi currently has no one else in that area of the pitch. That perhaps explains why Tottenham’s pursuit of Manchester City’s Savinho appears more advanced at this stage. Monaco star Maghnes Akliouche is another player admired by the club, although competition for his signature remains fierce. Then there is Rafael Leao, whose name has surfaced in recent days as a potential dream addition. Any move for the AC Milan forward would be extremely difficult, however, with both Manchester United and Barcelona also credited with interest.READ MORE: Jose Mourinho wants to poach Tottenham star as Real Madrid join Man City in transfer raceThe post Tottenham join Real Madrid and Chelsea in race for highly-rated £20m winger who impressed scouts appeared first on Spurs Web.
