3/4 Disney World Theme Parks Fully Reserved, Other October 13 Guests to Relocate

Wait 5 sec.

Open the Disney Park Pass reservation calendar on a Tuesday in mid-October, and the screen can tell a surprising story. On October 13, it showed no reservations available at three of Walt Disney World’s four theme parks, with one of them still showing none for the next day.Credit: Sarah Larson, Inside the MagicMeanwhile, a separate piece of news is landing in the same stretch of the calendar. Disney is raising the maximum prices for several Lightning Lane Single Pass attractions beginning November 1. The two stories aren’t connected in anything we’ve seen, but together they make for a very useful snapshot of what planning a Disney trip looks like right now. Here’s what’s confirmed, what isn’t, and how to plan around both. What the Reservation System ShowedCredit: DisneyThe Disney Park Pass reservation system showed the following for today, Tuesday, October 13:Disney’s Animal Kingdom (8am to 6pm): reservations availableEPCOT (9am to 9pm): no reservations availableDisney’s Hollywood Studios (9am to 9pm): no reservations availableMagic Kingdom (8am to 6pm): no reservations availableFor tomorrow, Wednesday, October 14, availability improves slightly:Disney’s Animal Kingdom (8am to 6pm): reservations availableEPCOT (9am to 9pm): reservations availableDisney’s Hollywood Studios (9am to 9pm): reservations availableMagic Kingdom (8am to 11pm): no reservations availableReading “No Reservations Available” CarefullyCredit: DisneySemantics matter here. The system shows that no reservations were available. It doesn’t say why, and it doesn’t give attendance numbers, so we aren’t making claims about how crowded any park is.It’s also a snapshot. Availability can change throughout the day as reservations are added or released, so checking the My Disney Experience app regularly is worthwhile. A park that shows no availability can open back up with no notice.A Curious Detail About Magic Kingdom’s HoursCredit: DisneyOne detail jumps out of the listing. Magic Kingdom’s hours are shown as 8am to 6pm today and 8am to 11pm tomorrow. If You Hold an Annual PassAnnual Passholders still have options when their preferred park shows no reservations. You can make a reservation at a park that has availability, enter that park first, and then use Park Hopper to visit a park without availability later in the day, capacity permitting.Annual Passholders can also visit without a theme park reservation after 2pm on any day, except Saturdays and Sundays at Magic Kingdom. If you’re flexible about where to start your day, Disney’s Animal Kingdom is the only park with a direct reservation available today. EPCOT and Hollywood Studios show availability tomorrow. The Price Side: Lightning Lane Single Pass Maximums Rise November 1Beginning Sunday, November 1, 2026, Disney is raising the maximum Lightning Lane Single Pass prices for four attractions. Single Pass is sold separately from the Lightning Lane Multi Pass bundle, and its prices vary by date and demand. The new maximums are:TRON Lightcycle / Run (Magic Kingdom): $25 per person, up from a previous high of $23Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind (EPCOT): $25 per person, up from $22Avatar Flight of Passage (Disney’s Animal Kingdom): $20 per person, up from $19Seven Dwarfs Mine Train (Magic Kingdom): $18 per person, up from $15That’s an increase of $1 to $3 over the previous reported highs, which were documented on October 29, 2025. A maximum isn’t necessarily what guests pay on every date, since prices vary. The Family MathWith these changes, three of Walt Disney World’s five Lightning Lane Single Pass attractions will carry a $25 maximum. Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance at Disney’s Hollywood Studios is also at that level, though it isn’t part of this round of increases. For a family of four, a Single Pass for TRON Lightcycle / Run or Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind at the new maximum would total $100 before tax. That’s on top of daily park admission, which can exceed $150 per person on certain dates and for certain ticket options.A Look Back at Launch PricesCredit: DisneyThe reported launch maximums show how far the ceilings have climbed:Seven Dwarfs Mine Train: $10 at launch, now $18, an increase of 80 percentAvatar Flight of Passage: $13 at launch, now $20, about 54 percentGuardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind: $14 at launch, now $25, about 79 percentTRON Lightcycle / Run: $19 at launch, now $25, about 32 percentThese comparisons show how the reported maximums have changed. They don’t establish how the increases compare with inflation, and they don’t explain why Disney chose its current prices. Why Early November? The new maximums arrive just ahead of the holiday travel period. Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party at Magic Kingdom and Disney Jollywood Nights at Hollywood Studios begin in November, and EPCOT’s International Festival of the Holidays starts later in the month. The weeks around Thanksgiving and Christmas are popular travel periods, though crowd levels vary by date and park. The timing alone doesn’t establish Disney’s motivations or show how visitors will respond, so we’re not drawing conclusions from it.Smart Ways to Plan Around BothFor anyone traveling soon, the reservation screen is the first place to look, so check your preferred park and your backups. For those thinking ahead to November, check the listed Single Pass prices for your dates and build any purchases into your budget. If $25 per person isn’t in the plan, standby queues are available for TRON Lightcycle / Run and Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind. Both moved away from virtual queues in 2024, so don’t count on the former free boarding groups at 7:00 a.m. or 1:00 p.m. Check the app for current queue options and wait times. For Avatar Flight of Passage and Seven Dwarfs Mine Train, standby lines are also available. Eligible Disney resort hotel guests can use Early Theme Park Entry for extra time in the parks. Joining a standby line closer to posted closing time can sometimes help, though waits vary and a shorter line is never guaranteed. It’s also worth comparing the Single Pass price with the expected standby wait before deciding.Over to YouHave you hit a “no reservations” screen on a recent trip, or changed a Lightning Lane plan because of price?
