Get them working hard. Keep that compactness in your defence. Make sure that you wrap the passes into each other and you’ve got a tempo of passing like you’ve had. He does know how to coach a football team, Roberto De Zerbi. We’ve seen that with Brighton. We know that he’s got that sort of good way about him.“So you’re right. I wouldn’t say it’s a certain thing that they’re going to all of a sudden fly up the table. But I actually think Tottenham will start to gradually push up towards top six, eight in the next couple of months. I do think we’ll start to see that sort of movement up the table. I do feel that.” View this post on Instagram A post shared by Sky Sports (@skysports)Spurs’ numbers support Neville’s optimismThe underlying statistics back up Neville’s claims, with Spurs ranking among the top sides in several key metrics. When it comes to touches in the opposition box, Tottenham sit fourth in the Premier League with 182, while they are third when it comes to winning the ball high up in the opposition final third.Spurs’ pressure high up the pitch led to a glorious opportunity for Dominic Solanke early on in the United encouunter, but the Englishman failed to convert. The Lilywhites also have several of their stars topping attacking stats such as take-ons completed, which allows them to get into good positions. However, their finishing has been lacking, and improving in that area will be crucial if they are to turn performances into results.READ MORE: ‘I am Tottenham’s fastest player until Mudryk returns’: Micky van de Ven says the stats lieThe post Gary Neville reveals where he thinks Tottenham will be in the table by Christmas appeared first on Spurs Web.
