Christian group tries to preach to women at Texas Roadhouse; the women respond with their own kind of blessing, leading to police intervention

Wait 5 sec.

Out for a meal at Texas Roadhouse is probably the last place people want to be preached to. But one woman, who found herself faced with a group of evangelical preachers spreading the Christian faith, decided that she had had enough and perhaps went a step too far by flashing her breasts in retaliation. The whole saga was documented on TikTok by Karle Davidson (@xoxo.karledavidson.xoxo) over the course of several videos. The initial video, showing the aftermath of Karle, in the back of a police car, received over three million views on TikTok. Karle and her friend are heard laughing. The caption offers little by way of explanation: “When you get arrested at Texas Roadhouse but it was worth it.” The follow-up video received even more views (over five million) and gave viewers a little more context to the situation. “My friend and I were minding our own business at Texas Roadhouse when a group of mega Christians kept coming over to our table to preach,” the text reads. “We asked them to leave us alone multiple times. When we went to leave, I blessed them back… with pasties on.” @xoxo.karledavidson.xoxo They didn’t appreciate my blessings #texasroadhouse #police #panamacitybeach #godblessbaycounty ♬ original sound – Karle Davidson The preachers evidently didn’t appreciate Karle’s “blessing,” as it seems they or someone else in the Texas Roadhouse called the police after she essentially flashed them. Police arrested Karle over the incident What appears to be the group of Christian preachers can be seen standing outside the Texas Roadhouse. Karle’s friend then tells her friend, “They’re having, like, a prayer circle over there for you,” which elicits laughter from Karle, who then repeatedly shouts, “God bless.” Viewers expressed confusion over why Karle was arrested when she claimed that preachers were the ones harassing her and her friends. “Wait why were you arrested if they were harassing you?” asked one commenter, to which Karle responded, “I wondered the same thing.” Another person told her to “Go back to the restaurant, get the footage and a good lawyer because baby sue the whole department.” Others criticized the practice of open-air preaching, also known as public preaching, claiming it to be a nuisance. Meanwhile, one person wanted to know if Karle was already wearing the pasties, or if she put them on just for the occasion. Regardless, it seems Karle was let off, as a later video showed her lifting up her shirt to show off the pasties covering her breasts outside the courthouse. The video caption read: “When the judge tell me what I did was the funniest thing that’s ever hit his desk and that I was NOT GUILTY!!”
