A Florida restaurant server confronted drive-thru staff at a Jacksonville Wendy’s after she was allegedly shortchanged on a $100 bill. She also claimed that she was insulted by a worker after she attempted to retrieve her money. TikTok creator and server Sierra (@siethebabii) recounted the incident in a video that has accumulated over 12,000 views so far. She explained that she visited the fast-food location near Riverside and Five Points around 12:30 AM following a seven-hour shift. Having just received her nightly cash tips, she claimed that she used a $100 bill to pay for an order totaling $16 and change. According to Sierra, the transaction broke down when the drive-thru cashier allegedly handed her a beverage, provided no receipt, and returned only $80 in cash. She then instructed her to pull forward into a designated parking spot. The cash dispute with the Wendy’s worker began in the drive-thru lane After pulling into parking space number one, Sierra counted the returned bills and realized that she was roughly $3 to $4 short of the change owed on the transaction. “She straight up just gives me $80 back. Where’s my money?” Sierra questioned. @siethebabii – don’t mind my hair yall im TIRED. The creator said that after knocking on the door for several minutes, a male employee exited to speak with her. She informed him that she wanted to cancel the order and requested her change back. However, another 15 to 20 minutes reportedly passed without any resolution. When she knocked on the glass a second time, a female employee reportedly approached the entrance. However, their confrontation allegedly led to a tense verbal back-and-forth about the missing funds. Management intervened and Sierra called the police to get her $3 back As the disagreement intensified outside the locked entrance, Sierra stated she threatened to contact law enforcement to report the missing money. According to her, the female employee then leaned out of the drive-thru window and called her “cheap” for demanding the change back. Sierra pushed back against the label, pointing out that she had worked on her feet all evening and was entitled to every dollar she had earned. “Man, this freaking triple-sized Oompa Loompa comes out the drive-thru window and calls me a cheap-a b***h… Me? I’m the cheap one? But you had to steal $3 out of my pockets?” she said in frustration. A store manager eventually stepped outside to address the confrontation and defuse the situation with Sierra in the parking lot. However, Sierra claimed that she had to call the police and got her money back only after the fact. She concluded her video asserting that workers across all service industries deserve respect for their labor and the correct change at the register.
