Arsenal have monitored Christian Kofane since the start of last season as the attacker develops at Bayer Leverkusen. The Gunners remain interested and are assessing whether to approach for his signature. They view Kofane as one of the continent’s most promising young attackers and believe he could strengthen their squad. They continue to watch him before deciding when to contact Leverkusen about a potential move.Kofane remains important to Leverkusen’s plans, so the German club may be reluctant to let him leave. However, joining Arsenal would be an attractive opportunity given their standing in European football.Arsenal face competition for KofaneThe Gunners are not alone in monitoring the attacker. A report from Bulinews claims Real Madrid and Manchester United are also tracking him, giving Arsenal two major rivals for his signature. Both clubs have strong reputations and could appeal to Kofane. Arsenal cannot assume their long-standing interest will be enough to secure a deal. Madrid have several high-profile players who do not feature regularly, which could influence Kofane’s view of a potential move.(Photo by Christof Koepsel/Getty Images)Arsenal cannot afford complacencyManchester United, meanwhile, are experiencing a difficult period as a team. Arsenal may feel this gives them an opportunity, but United’s struggles do not remove the threat posed by their interest. The Gunners must monitor Kofane’s development and decide when, or whether, to make a formal approach. Leverkusen’s plans will also matter, as the striker remains part of their squad and there is no indication they are ready to sell.If Kofane continues to improve, more clubs could enter the race and try to convince him to join them. That would make Arsenal’s task more complicated and increase competition for his signature.Arsenal will need to act decisively if they conclude Kofane is the right addition to their attack. Their continued monitoring shows interest, but they must turn it into a serious pursuit if they want to prevent another club from winning the race._____________________________________________________________________________________________ADMIN COMMENTSo here are some simple rules which I must insist commenters follow….You agree not to give any personal abuse to other Arsenal fans.
