Can a Korean Citizen With a Philippine BSN but No Philippine RN License Work Abroad?

Wait 5 sec.

Hi everyone! I'm a South Korean citizen currently studying BSN in the Philippines. My concern is that I won't have a Philippine RN license after graduation due to nationality and licensure restrictions. I've heard that many countries require nurses to hold an RN license from the country where they graduated. Would it still be possible for me to take the NCLEX, obtain a US RN license, and eventually find an employer willing to sponsor me without a Philippine RN license? I'm also open to other countries, not just the US. Has anyone been in a similar situation or known someone who successfully became an RN and found employment abroad without a license from their country of education? I'd really appreciate any advice or real life experiences. Thank you! submitted by /u/Educational-Set-2380 [link] [comments]
