A late-night fast-food delivery in Charleston, South Carolina left a group of friends without their meal after the order allegedly arrived containing only condiment packets. The incident left her shocked and jokingly issuing lighthearted threats to the outlet. TikTok content creator Olivia (@liv.talmage) shared the alleged infuriating incident in a TikTok clip, explaining that she and her friends placed an order from a local McDonald’s around 2:00 AM. The group reportedly selected a variety of items intended to serve multiple people, expecting a complete multi-course delivery to arrive at their door. However, when Olivia brought the sealed delivery bag inside and opened it, she discovered that the kitchen had catastrophically messed up their order. Instead, the store allegedly sent only four individual dipping sauces. A late-night McDonald’s order in Charleston allegedly arrived completely empty According to Olivia, the group had placed an extensive order consisting of sandwiches, sides, and dessert items to cap off their night. “We ordered what, fries? Two burgers, four snack wraps, three snack wraps, a McFlurry—the McFlurry machine was working—but no, this,” Olivia detailed while panning the camera across the table. @liv.talmage This can’t be real #mcdonalds #storytime #latenightsnack #latenightstory #doordash ♬ original sound – Olivia Instead of the bags of hot food, the order allegedly consisted solely of a single paper delivery bag with four condiment tubs: ranch, sweet ‘n sour, and two honey mustards. “This is all that they delivered. This is the only thing that they delivered,” Olivia said. “”Four sauces. Four. Four sauces. Not one item of food. Just this.” Finding humor in the unexpected mistake, Olivia joked that the missing meal at least kept their calorie intake low for the night. “At least we’re skinny. We’re skinny this morning, though, I will say,” she joked. Olivia issued a lighthearted warning to the McDonald’s outlet Despite seeing the bright side of low calorie intake, Olivia also issued a lighthearted warning to McDonald’s for leaving them hungry for the night. She remarked, “Charleston, count your days. McDonald’s in Charleston, count your days,” before ending the video. The creator did not elaborate further on whether she took up the issue with the delivery platform or McDonald’s. So, it is unknown whether she and her friends were compensated for the alleged mishap. One user commented on her video, reasoning that the delivery driver might have stolen the food, as seen in several other cases. However, it’s only an alleged guess. It’s true that late-night delivery errors occasionally involve missing drinks or sides. But receiving only condiment containers is an unusually weird oversight. So, we hope Olivia and her friends at least walked away with a refund.
