Hi all 👋 Finally in the flat after first viewing in March. Very happy with it generally but it's quickly become apparent that the sellers lied on the TA6. A lady who lives in the adjacent terraced house screams at everyone. She is not well and I have already filed a report. She screamed incessantly at my delivery men, leaning over the boundary wall to do so. She yelled "blood of christ" at me and, from only 2 feet away, made a throwing motion. I genuinely flinched but luckily her hand was empty and it was only metaphorically the blood of christ. I spoke to the other flat owners and apparently this has been going for a long time and she has "victims" she goes after on the street. The TA6 said "no" disputes and "no" to anything likely to cause disputes... I'm already seeking legal advice from my brilliant conveyancer but am wondering if its even worth throwing money at this? Although I would argue someone screaming random bible passages at you and anyone visiting you arguably would lower a flat's value, especially if declared on the TA6 (which I strongly feel it should have been). submitted by /u/Awkward_Sl0th to r/HousingUK [link] [comments]
