Vinicius won't be able to play Classico since the Competition Committee has imposed a four-game suspension after seeing red in last Saturday's game against him Villarreal. The Brazilian was sent off for pulling the hair of Nathan Saliba in the play that would end in his goal that was later disallowed for this reason. He will miss the games against Seville, Barcelona, Racing and Valencia. The referee of the match, Isidro Díaz de Mera reflected in the minutes both the reason for the red card and an additional episode already with the player sent offeither. It was the VAR that notified the referee, who after reviewing the play changed his criteria. The minutes say the following: "2 games of suspension for occurring violently outside the game, not being able to dispute the ball or the stopped game, with accessory fine(s) in application of article 5. And another suspension: 2-match suspension for protests to the referee, principal, assistant or fourth referee." submitted by /u/Timely-Zombie9466 [link] [comments]
