Visited America for a couple weeks in July mainly stayed around New York then Houston. One thing I noticed is that there were so many people in scrubs in public. On the train especially , no jacket to cover up. Just scrubs out in the open. I’m from the UK and that’s almost unheard of, we change into our scrubs at work and dispose of them there, unless my normal clothes get spoilt there’s no reason for me to be in scrubs outside my hospital. Some nurses who wear uniforms may wear them on their commute (you’re not supposed to) but it’s usually covered up by a big jacket or sweater. Do you guys not get in trouble ? What do your infection control nurses say ? (Not including those who drive to work as that’s different) submitted by /u/Ok_Condition_6021 [link] [comments]
